My name is Makenna Hale, I am a 22 year old, life long Michigander. I grew up in a small family of four, and now live with my boyfriend, puppy and cat. I have always been a caretaker and realized my goals and aspirations in life when my first cousin was born in 2018 and I got to spend her 4th trimester with her and my aunt.
I have many hobbies that include small tedious tasks that I can lounge on the couch like, Legos, reading and coloring. I am audiobook obsessed and love anything fantasy and magical. I spend many hours watching movies: mostly old Romcoms, Horror and Disney!
I graduated from Wayne County Community College with my Associates in Early Childhood Development. While in school I was a preschool assistant teacher (2021-2022). I then shifted my focus to younger kids and was a toddler lead from 2023-2025. My work in childcare showed me that my strengths extend far beyond the classroom. I connected deeply with parents and found myself offering guidance, reassurance, and practical support that went beyond traditional childcare roles. I especially loved working with infants and valued the one‑on‑one connection that can be hard to find in a busy childcare setting. This inspired me to transition into family care and pursue my postpartum doula certification. I’m currently completing my training and building experience to provide informed, holistic support to families from day one.
My goal in starting this business is to be the extra hand and steady support every new or seasoned parent deserves. Parenting is hard, and sometimes what you need isn’t someone to relate, it’s someone who can help, encourage, and gently guide. I’m here to connect families with the village that exists for them, even when it feels out of reach.
